A PTI report (via the Statesman) quotes a Maquire Research, which suggests Indian telecom operators intend to invest around $20 billion of capital expenditure over the next two years. Revenue for operators from the mobile business is expected to be $33.1 billion by 2010. They believe at at the end of two years, mobile services will cover around 80 percent of the population.
